Several of the questions in this year’s Poll were modelled on those developed by other polling organisations, including the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Pew Research Center, Gallup and Essential.
Fieldwork for the 2020 Lowy Institute Poll and COVIDpoll was managed by Tina Petroulias, Karly Day and Matilda Page of the Social Research Centre. Benjamin Phillips of the Social Research Centre provided technical support. John Davis of OmniPoll provided independent consulting and reviewed the questionnaires and report. Noah Yim, intern in the Lowy Institute’s Diplomacy and Research Program, provided background research and assisted in the development of the questionnaire.
